Nadine D’Orsay is an expert in the fields of psychology, contemplative methodologies and integrative mental health counseling services. She holds a B.A. in Contemplative Psychology from Buddhist Naropa University and an Ed.M. in Counseling Psychology with a focus on multiculturalism from Columbia University. Over the last 15 years, she has worked in various clinical and outpatient psychiatric settings, from inpatient psychiatric units and day treatment centers to crisis intervention teams and women shelters. She is deeply commited to the idea of accepting crises on the individual, social and environmental levels as catalysts for meaningful change and evolution, while providing the necessary tools to foster resilience and access to individual and social ressources. She is the co-founder of ACT Berlin, an online ressource for multicultural counseling services in Berlin, and runs a private practice for mental health counseling, yoga and meditation in Berlin.
